About Me

Hi! I'm Mike Bezilla. I live with my wife and two daughters just north of Pittsburgh, PA along with our cat, Elsa, and dog, Bruce. I have been an Instructional Designer for over a decade and enjoy writing, reading and reviewing books in my free time. I launched two book series in 2022, "The Adventures of Michael John" and "The S'mores Family"! Book two of the "The Adventures of Michael John" series, "Space Race!" is now available! In late 2022, I took over as the Regional Advisor of The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) for the Pennsylvania: West region. I am a proud Pittsburgher and celebrate all things black and gold. I graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology.
